eBay is very well known auction website, while Live Online Auction websites are in the process of expansion and still looking for their loyal online customers. There are two main types of auctions. One is Online Live Auction, while the other is eBay. Here are some differences between a Live Online Auction and eBay.
)In Online Live Auction, products are placed for auction by company who is the owner of website and is still running the website. On the other hand, some eBay participants place the products for auction.
)In Live Online Auction, the products are new and they are in their original packing, while on eBay products have been used before and the owner want to sell them.
)There is a specific amount of bidding increment in the Live Online Auction, and they are following the rules of penny auctions, as this increment is usually in the form of penny. While on eBay, you can bid with any amount that you choose and specify.
)It is not usual to establish a reserve price in a Live Online Auction, while in eBay, this feature of reserving the price is often used to protect all the treasures.
)Both of these auction sites use the feature of Buy it. In Live Online Auction, this feature is used for losing bid for the purpose of applying all the money against purchase of the product. The users of eBay use the option of Buy it for ending the auction for a particular product.
)In the eBay, with the start of end of the time of auction, auction ends. But in the case of Live Online Auction, each and every time, after placement of the additional bid in the last 10 or 15 seconds, the clock is again reset by 20 or 30 seconds for allowing the bidders to submit another bid.
