Quran: The Objective Of Islamic Schools

04.22

The purpose and goals of Islamic schools on internet is to spread the Islamic knowledge to all over the world, and eliminate all non-Quranic ideologies, viewpoint, and practices common in present-day, and replace them with Quranic concepts based upon reason and rationale, but you should be care full on internet while choosing an Islamic school; because there are many fake Islamic websites, so you have to find a best resource. Quran is basically directed towards individuals who are in search of truth so that they can overcome the forces of secularism and be able to establish a pure Islamic society.

Individual intelligence only cannot solve life’s troubles. Allah revelation is obligatory for human guidance in the same way that vision requires light. Allah revelation in its complete and final form is safely preserved in the Quran. This is the universal and permanent source of guidance for humanity for all time. So, no further revelation, nor any prophet, nor any messenger from God can come now. The Quran is the last holy book of Allah (SWT) and Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is his last prophet and messenger.

Allah (SWT) says in Quran: “There is no doubt, vagueness or confusion in this Book. This Book shows the Mutaqeen the way which leads to the ultimate goal set for mankind. The Mutaqeen are those who strive to avoid the pitfalls of the wrong path, who believe in the invisible (which cannot be perceived by human mind alone, and what becomes comprehensible when viewed in the light of Koran) and are confident that the right path (described in Koran) will lead them to their ultimate destination, whatever the apparent circumstances might be”.

In order to become a “Mutaqeen”, Muslims should spend their lives according to the laws of Allah and the purpose of the Deen (Islam) is to encourage obedience to the laws of Allah (SWT) only.

The Day Of ‘Ahura’ For Muslims!

Muharram – The Sacred Month:

Muharram is the sacred month for all Muslims.  The importance of this month has been given in Quran as well as our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also highlighted its importance in his last prostration. Especially the first ten days of Muharram have their own importance.  Fasting in these days, especially on the tenth day of Muharram, which is called, Ashura holds great importance.

Our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has been reported to have said, in response to the question, which prayer is better after obligatory prayer, “Prayer in the middle of the night.” He was asked again which fast is better after Ramadan. He said: “In the month that is called Al-Muharram.” (Ahmed, Muslim, and Abu Dawud)

The Concept of ‘Ashura’:

This shows how much is the voluntary fasting in Muharram important for Muslims.  Ashura, the word, has been derived from Ashra, which means ten.  This was the day when Moses and his followers were driven from Israel from their enemy so this day is being celebrated by fasting in both Jews and Muslims.

However, Ibn Abbas related when Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) observed the day of ‘Ashura and commanded his followers to observe it, they asked him: “O Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) this is the day the Jews, and Christians respect and honor…” The Prophet (peace be upon him) promised them that “Next year Allah willing, we shall fast the ninth, tasuu’aa, along with the tenth.”

Unfortunately by the next Muharram, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) had already passed away.

Root Cause Of The Downfall Of Muslims!

Quran reading is important for Muslims; however, the importance has not been limited to Ramadan only. Quran reading is equally important all the year long. Though the rewards of Quran reading are doubled in Ramadan, yet it does not mean that Quran reading has no rewards in other months and that it should be recited in Ramadan only.

Muslims And Quran:

Muslims have been a strong nation and they have ruled over the major part of the world in the past decades.  Now they are in a state of a trough.  There are numerous reasons behind this state of Muslims. Muslims have been faced with numerous issues including their health issues, economical issues of most of the Islamic countries and political instabilities.

These problems have weakened the Muslim nations and in the era where most of the countries are making their place on moon and mars, Muslims nations are still fighting for bread and butter.  Root cause of the problem is that Muslims have gone far from their base, which is Quran.

Future As A Nation:

Muslims should learn from their past, however, people like debating on issues from the past, but they do not learn from the past.  Remember, a wise person learns from the past, implements it on the present and cares about future. There is another famous saying that you plough what you sow.  If you work today, you will have benefits tomorrow. If you want to make your future better as a nation, work for it today and start from Quran reading and learning!

Learn Quran Online: Learn Wisdom Of Life Online!

You know that music is haram, but do you know why? You know that music, if haram, has some negative effects on us, but do you know what? If your answer is no to the latter parts of both questions, then you have incomplete information.  It is a very common proverb in many Asian cultures that incomplete information is dangerous and it’s better to have no information rather than incomplete information.

Learn Quran online and clear all your concepts. Complete your information scale on all topics that left you confused.  As far as music is considered, Allah (SWT) has considered Haram for Muslims.  It is Haram because it has great amount of negative effects on your thinking and your body as well. You can learn the effects by exposing an apple to music every day. Compare it with another apple that you expose to Quran recitation everyday. You will notify the change yourself.

One of the recent trends amongst Muslims is to recite Hamd (praise of Allah) or Naat (praise of Muhammad) with a musical background.  This trend is popularizing day by day. This was a new concept that had emerged and many Islamic scholars classified it a Biddat, which means bringing or introducing new thing in religion which is not a part of the religion. The clear reason behind Music being Haram in Islam is that it takes you to a fantasy and distracts you. If you add music to Naat or Hamd (which are considered really sanctified in Islam), you are disrespecting the lyrics of Naat and Hamd.

Importance of Salaam

The words of Salam has great value in Islam, when a Muslim meet to other Muslim must say “assalaamu alaykum”. These words are known as Salam. Many people when meet to other person just say “hi” instead of saying “assalaamu alaykum”, we should avoid this type of greeting, as Allah (SWT) prescribed Salaam for us, and it was only to be used among Muslims.  Salaam is better than all other greetings in Islam for the reason that it has such a deep meaning to it. The meaning of   Assalamu-alaikum is May peace and blessings of Allah descend upon you.  Allah (SWT) said in Quran: “And when you are greeted with a greeting, greet in return with what is better than it or (at least) return it equally.”

(Qur’an, An-Nisa 4:86)

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (SAW) said: “The Muslim has five rights over his fellow-Muslim: he should return his salaams, visit him when he is sick, attend his funeral, accept his invitation, and pray for mercy for him when he sneezes”(Bukhari 1240).  If you don’t say salaam or reply, you’re losing your hasanats.

Abu Huraira reported that a man passed by the Messenger of Allah (SAW) while he was sitting with some others, and said “Salaam Alaikum”. The Prophet (SAW) said “He will have 10 hasanats”.  Another man passed by and said “Salaam Alaikum wa rahmat-Allah”.  The Prophet (SAW) said he will have 20 hasanats”.  Another man passed and said “Assalamu-alaikum wa rahmat -Allaahi wa barakaatuh”.  The Prophet (SAW) said he will have 30 hasanats”(Bukhari 586).  From this Hadith, you can see the importance of Slam. Mostly people just say “Assalamu-Alaikum”.  But adding just few more words, you can get 10 more hasanats.

When a child start talking, the parents should teach them the words of Salam, when a child start to go school the teachers should teach them the way and words of Salam, an Islamic school provides all basic Islamic knowledge to child and It is very necessary to give child proper knowledge of Islam.

Quran Teaching: Preservation Of The Text Of Quran For Centuries!

03.24

According to the Quran teaching, Quran is the sole and unique example of its kind. It is eternal and it is the miracle that was given to our holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This is the last scripture that was revealed for the humankind. After that no scripture will be revealed.  Quran deals with the past, present and the future. It guides us through the stories of the past, helps us with the present and warns us about the future.

The initial verse of Quran was revealed when our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was at the age of 41 and it took twenty three years for its competition. “Read in the name of your Lord who created? He created man from a clot (congealed blood).Read and your Lord is Most Honorable .Who taught with the Pen. Taught man what he knew not.”

Allah’s messenger chose some scribers for this purpose so the Quran teaching may be preserved in the form of compilation for the generations to come. The poet Zayd son of Thabit was a companion of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and he was also the scriber.  He described that,” When a verse was revealed, the Prophet called me. I presented myself at once with the plate, pen and ink-pot. The Prophet used to dictate the revealed verses, then he would asked me to rehearse the Sura and get it corrected then it was ordered to be promulgated.”

Quran teaching is as pious as the words of the Quran are. Therefore, there are certain defined methods of Quran recitation and learning. These include:

  • Quran should be recited with proper Wazu, and physical cleanliness
  • Place the Quran were it cannot be disrespected by children
  • Recite the way it should be recited
  • Listen to it attentively while being recited

Quran tutor can help you read Quran, which is in a language that might not be native to you. He or she can also help you read and understand Quran. If you read the translation of the Quran, while reciting the Quran, you might not catch the meaning of the verses easily. You might have noticed that if you read translation of the Quran during recitation, it does not tend to strike you hard.Quran Tutor

This is the reason, why most of the Muslims focus on the recitation only. On the other hand, the importance of understanding the Quran cannot be denied. If you try harder yourself, to read and understand the Quran, it will definitely produce better results.

You can try this method for this purpose. It is a simple method but it will surely produce results for you. Once you read the meaning of any of the verse of Quran, but that does not strike you hard, say it little louder than your normal tone. You can do this for any section of Quran.

Imagine that you are either hearing the meaning from the Prophet himself or from any of his companions. This will help you feel the intensity of the meanings. Another method is that you learn more about prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W.S.). When you learn more about him, and you feel that you have love increased for your prophet in your hearts, then ultimately you will be able connect more to the Quran. You can certainly play more tactics with yourself for increasing interest in Quran, depending upon your psyche.

Quran Tutor Have The Answers To Every Question In Your Mind!

Quran tutor is the person, whom you can look up to, in terms of learning from him. He or she is surely the one, who is very dear to our prophet Muhammad (SAWWS). Our prophet Muhammad (SAWWS) said that, “The best of you are those who learn the Qur’aan and teach it.(Bukhaari).

The qualified Quran teachers can guide you in your daily life as well. Many sisters, mostly living in western democracies, are confused about the head cover phenomenon. These Muslim sisters need proper guidance. As far as hijab is concerned, it is the covering of the body of a Muslim woman.

Muslim women are supposed to cover their body, except their face and hands. This is clear from the Hadith of our Prophet Muhammad (SAWWS), quoted in Sunan Abu Dawood, ‘Aisha said: Asthma’, daughter of Abu Bakr, entered upon the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) wearing thin clothes. The Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) turned his attention from her. He said: O Asthma’, when a woman reaches the age of menstruation, it does not suit her that she displays her parts of the body except this and this, and he pointed to her face and hands”.

This shows that Muslim women are supposed to get their bodies covered, but they have the liberty to keep hands and faces open, if they want. However, many scholars suggest that it would be better, if women cover their faces as well. This is because Allah has veiled every delicate thing with cover, and female gender is delicate enough to be covered with a veil.
