There are lots of mosques all over the world, and all of them are using different types of loud speakers for Azan and the recitation of Holy Quran. There is no objection on using the loud speakers for Azan, however there is some objection regarding the loudness of Azan and the recitation of Holy Quran using speakers. Some people say that by reducing the volume, Syiar of religion will also be reduced, therefore this should not be done.

There are some hadiths mentioned in the Holy Quran regarding Azan, If the Azan is blasted at a very high volume, then this will develop a feeling of hatred in the mind of people and they will stay away from the religion Islam. If you Teach Quran to people, you will get to know more about the rules of Azan mentioned in the Holy Book. This will not encourage non-Muslims to get close to religion. People have moved to a point where they intentionally cut off the non-Muslims by making lot of barriers for entering the compound of Mosque.

Too much use of loudness of the megaphones is not allowed. All these megaphones are made by man. The technology is present for hearing the Azan in a way that sooths the ear. Here the question arises that why technology cannot be used for advantage. The best thing we can do for ourselves as humans is to submit ourselves wholly to the one who created us, as well as everything other than humans, i.e. Allah Almighty. Islam is the best way to live our life like that, as also mentioned by Allah Almighty himself:

The religion before Allah is Islam (submission to His will): nor did the people of the Book dissent there from except through envy of each other, after knowledge had come to them. But if any deny the Signs of Allah, Allah is swift in calling to account.{Al Quran; 3:19}


Now, Islam gives human beings a complete code of conduct for every aspect of life, including the detail of how to specifically praise their Lord, Mighty Allah, by virtue of daily 5 prayers. All through 24 hours of a day, Islam devises a schedule, following which every Muslim is obliged to pray Allah Almighty in a specific manner.

However, people who contemplate, get to the fact that this is the least humans can do to praise mighty Allah for all the blessing. Therefore, His true followers try to remember Him and praise Him the most they can by Quran Recitation, a manner Allah Himself likes His creatures (humans) to follow, as cleared from the following verse of the Glorious Quran:

And recite (and teach) what has been revealed to thee of the book of thy Lord: none can change His Words, and none wilt thou find as a refuge other than Him. [Al Quran; 18:27]

You will most probably never come across a sane person who does not want to live life in the best possible manner. However, not everyone is aware of the right manner that can help him/her find such a path that leads to material progress and prosperity as well as mental peace and serenity.

Muslims are definitely lucky to have been blessed by a source that promises to provide the best of guidance one cares for, in order to make the best of both worlds, i.e. this world and the world hereafter, which is one of the primary elements of faith for Muslims.

Now, the question is how do we  come to know whether what Muslims claim to be the best source of guidance and blessings is really worth so. Well, one should no more of an authentication once Allah Almighty, the sole creator of the universe Himself tells humanity about such a source, as mentioned in the following verse from Holy Quran.

Yunus [10:57].  O mankind! There has come to you a good advice from your Lord (i.e. the Qur’an, enjoining all that is good and forbidding all that is evil), and a healing for that (disease of ignorance, doubt, hypocrisy and differences,) Which is in your breasts, – a guidance and a mercy (explaining lawful and unlawful things) for the believers.

That is why Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) signified so greatly to Muslims to learn Quran themselves and teach it to others, so that all of them can be blessed by Allah’s graciousness:

“The best of you is he who has learnt the Qur’an and then taught it.” (Bukhari)

Duties that Make a Muslim a True and Good Muslim

Every person has some duties in life, if he is a father his duties is to look after for his children, a husband has duties to his wife, similarly a Muslim also has some duties, which are bestowed upon us by Allah Almighty.

A few of the duties, which every Muslim should comply to, are given as under:

A Good Human Being:

Besides religious duties, the foremost important duty, which Islam emphasis on is, being a good human being. A good human being is one who takes care of everyone around him, whether it be his friends, family, neighbors, or even animals. A person who is not a good human being cannot be a good Muslim.

Learning and Teaching Quran:

Allah has bestowed Quran upon Muslims, for their guidance, so it is the duty of a Muslim to learn and understand the message of Quran, and spread it to others. As Hadith says:

“The best amongst you is the one who learns Quran and teaches it”

From the hadith we can see that, a good Muslim must learn as well as teach Quran.

Jahad bin Nafs:

Jahad bin Nafs, is a kind of jahad, which you do to fight with the temptations, and persuasions of Satan, to make yourself a better person. A good Muslim has a duty of fighting with Satan, and his temptations.

The five Pillars:

A most important religious duty of a good Muslim is to fulfill the five pillars of Islam, namely; Kalma, Namaz, Roza, Hajj, and Zakkah. No Muslim can be a true Muslim, unless he fulfills all these necessary pillars of Islam.

All in all, by following the above mentioned duties, a Muslim can become a true Muslim, and a good and productive part of society.

It is true that Koran is inerrant and the perfect word of God. There are many books that were sent for the guidance of a human being. It is said:

“It is not righteous that you turn your face towards East or West, although it is righteousness to believe in Allah and last day, and the Angels, and book and about the messengers in order to spend the substance out for his love, for his kin, for the orphans and for the needy, for wayfarer and for those who ask the ransom for slaves to be steadfast in prayer, and practicing charity, to fullfil the contracts that are made, the need is to be firm  and patient in pain and suffering, Throughout all periods of panic. There is such a truth of Allah fearing. Online Quran Teaching helps us in understanding about the core concepts of Islam.

Manners And Rules Of Quran Recitation

For Quran Recitation there are nine rules that are known as Tajweed rules. Out of these nine rules, the second rule tells about the physical state of a Quran Reciter, while the last seven rules are about its pronunciation and grammar. We focus on the first rule of Tajweed which is about the reciter’s manner and attitude. Some attributes need to be developed by the Quran reciters according to the first rule.

Out of all the rules, the first and most important one is that the reciter of Quran must have this belief in his mind that Quran is not the word of man; in fact, it is the speech of Allah. This speech of Allah is in the Arabic language. One point is clear that Quran is only in Arabic, it cannot be found in any other language. This also means that we can only pray in Arabic language. Although the translation of Quran might be found in English, French, Swahili and Urdu, but we cannot prey in these languages. The Original text of Allah is in Arabic language and anything else can be termed as the translation of the Quran.

The second important point that needs to keep in mind is that the reader of Quran must be free and clear of all thoughts prevailing in his mind before reading the Quran. The reader must completely focus on the words, their meanings and on it implications. In addition, the reciter must be of humble nature and he should keep in mind that every message of Quran is for himself.
