But instead of focusing on your weight, fats and Ramadan recipes you must have to focus on your prayers and ibadats. Do lots of prayers in the month of Ramadan and ask for forgiveness from ALLAH.

Hazrat Yusuf had eleven brothers. He was a very good and handsome boy, and his father Hazrat Yaqub loved him very much. Due to this, Hazrat Yusuf’s brothers were all very jealous of him. They didn’t treat Him well. One day, Hazrat Yusuf’s brothers asked their father to allow them to take Hazrat Yusuf along with them to the desert so that he could also enjoy the beautiful sight of the desert.

Hazrat Yaqub didn’t want to be separated from Hazrat Yusuf, but he allowed them to take Him. Hazrat Yusuf and his brothers went to the desert. The brothers removed His clothes and threw Him in a well near Kin’aan. His brothers took His bloodstained clothes to their father and said, “O father! We regret that what you feared actually happened. A wolf took away Yusuf while we were hunting.”

A caravan happened to pass by the well and its people took Hazrat Yusuf along with them. Thereafter, they sold Hazrat Yusuf to Totiqaar the treasurer of the Egyptian king. Hazrat Yusuf worked hard with the other slaves in the house of the Ruler, and gradually acquired excellence over other slaves.

One day, the Aziz (Egyptian king) told his wife Zulaikha about Hazrat Yusuf hard work. Zulaikha was unable to endure the beauty of Hazrat Yusuf and she was taken with Him. Hazrat Yusuf turned down Zulaikha’s advances causing her to levelled false accusations against Hazrat Yusuf and asked her husband to put him in prison and put him through painful punishment.

But, a child named Khaleekha testified while she was lying in the cradle. She said that if Hazrat Yusuf’s shirt was torn from the front, then Zulaikha was true in her allegation. But if it was torn from behind, then Zulaikha was lying and Hazrat Yusuf was truthful. Interesting story: What should be the Islamic gifts according to Quran?

read Quran“And they (women) have rights similar to those (of men) over them in kindness, and men are a degree above them. Allah is Mighty, Wise.(Quran, Al-Baqarah 2: 228)

In Islam, the marriage between a man and a woman is considered as a very sacred act and a contract, a blessed gift of Allah to lead a happy and enjoyable life. The main objectives are spritual tranquality, peace and cooperation and partnership in fullfilling the great mandate in terms of our religion. Well marriage is also to fulfill the physical needs of someone in a very descent manner. While we read Quran we can find out that:

“Among His signs is that He created for you spouses of your own kind in order that you may repose to them in tranquility and He instilled in your hearts love and affection for one another; verily, in these are signs for those who reflect (on the nature of the reality.” (Quran, Ar-Rum 30: 21)

In an another Surah in Quran Allah has stated the relatinship between male and female in the context of partnership and achieving the divine mandate:

“The believers, males and females, are partners of one another; they shall jointly enjoin all that is good and counsel against all that is evil.” (Quran, At-Tawbah 9: 71)

Allah has gifted us a great source of information in the form of Quran. We can findout any kind of guidance, law, knowledge and information in Quran and that’s why we are advised to read Quran so that we can educate ourselves in a spritual and religious way.

Our Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. said: “Four things bring one joy: a righteous wife, a spacious house, a pious neighbor and a comfortable riding animal.” (Reported by Al-Hakim, Abu-Nu`aym and Al-Bayhaqi)

Allah says in Quran that:

“Men are in charge of women, because Allah hath men the one of them to excel the other, and because they spend of their property (for the support of women). So good women are the obedient, guarding in secret that which Allah hath guarded.” (Quran, An-Nisa’ 4: 34)

Has Muhammad Invented the Quran?

2010
08.03

Before fourteen thousand years when brother kill brother, there is no respect for women and each other, people kill girls and stop their birth, in that old ages when people have been fully forgotten their Lord and the Day of Judgment, there come a man Muhammad (P.B.U.H) that was a messenger of ALLAH. ALLAH sends a holy book ‘Quran’ to him for his followers. But the disbeliever of Mecca says that the Quran is invented by Muhammad (P.B.U.H).

Say (O Muhammad): “Then bring ten Surah the like thereof, the like of a Surah of the Quran; and call upon whom you can to assist you, If you are truthful, about the Quran being an invention made by Muhammad”.

None of them can invent ten Surah or a single Surah like Quran. This shows that disbelievers of Mecca are liar about their claim. Quran is a true book and is a guide for all of us. Quran covers all the human life aspects. Whatever Quran said it has proved it or science has proved the things. Mecca failed to bring a Surah like in the Quran and they believe that Quran is poetry or a magical force and nothing else.  This was the first challenge in the history of mankind is still valid. Quran Depict that Heaven does Exist and has Rewards.

A Quran stated in a verse that “When they could not respond, Allah said: (And if they answer not your prayer) and if the wrong-doers do not answer you, (then know) O disbelievers (that it is revealed) that Gabriel brought down the Qur’an (only in the knowledge of Allah) and with his command; (and that there is no God save Him. Will ye then be (of) those who surrender?) And believe in Muhammad and in the Quran”.

Q & A about Fasting

2010
08.02

QuranIslam obliges fasting as a source for achieving virtue and faithfulness and during the month of Ramadan we prove our faith (Iman) in Allah by following the Quran and Sunnah (lifestyle) of our prophet Muhammad S.A.W.

Most of the people have many questions about fasting and some of them are:

Q: Is it important to eat a Pre-dawn Meal?
A: Definitely it is important, for being able to survive through the long day without any food. Anas reported that the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. said, “Eat a Suhur, for there are blessings in it.” It strengthens the fasting person, gives him energy and makes the fasting easier for him.

Q: Is it allowed to use Miswak or tooth brush for cleaning teeth? OR are we allowed to take a shower?
A: Tooth Brush is not allowed but one can use a brush without tooth paste or else he can use Miswak. The Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. used His Miswak while fasting.

A fasting person can also take a shower or bathe but he must be careful not to swallow the water.

Q: Is a sick person exempted from fasting?
A: If someone suffers from a disease which can’t be cured easily then fasting are exempted for that person but he/she has to compensate them. For each fast, a poor person has to be fed two times or else the equivalent amount has to be paid to a needy person.

Q: Do lying, stealing, foolish talk, abusing and other prohibited acts nullify the fasting?
A: O you who believe, fasting is decreed for you, as it was decreed for those before you, that you may attain salvation. [Quran, 2:183]

From the above verse of Quran we can notice that there is a main objective of fasting; to control ourselves and to keep away from false acts.

The Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.  said: “Fasting is a shield, so when one of you is fasting he should not indulge in foul or foolish talk. If someone attacks him or insults him, let him say: ‘I am fasting, I am fasting”.

Islam according to the Quran allows Halal (valid) money and food for the Muslims. ‘Halal’ means the things through a right way allowed in Islam. The Quran has given us various guidelines for the Halal food and money. Halal money means the money you earn from the right way that is the work in which you do hard work; avoid earning money from illegal ways. Halal food on the other hand has some rules and procedures to follow. Islamic countries follow that procedures and now other non Muslim countries have some Halal catering companies that follow these procedures to produce Halal food for Muslims.  The Halal catering companies work with the dietary of Muslims defined in the Quran. Holy Quran is a true book of ALLAH which covers all the aspects of human life.

Quran has specifically list the food which are not allowed in Islam. Any animal food which is not killed in the name of ALLAH are not Halal for Muslims. Muslims can’t eat them. The way to make things Halal is to kill the animal with the name of ALLAH as Quran stated that “And eat not of that whereon Allah’s name hath not been mentioned, for lo! It is abomination”. Also food which contains blood is not Halal. Make sure to clean all the blood in the meat and then serve it after cook. Alcohol is not allowed in Islam. Quran Canons for the Benefits of Consumer. Quran stated that “Strong drinks…are only an infamy of Satan’s handiwork”. Foods that are prepared from alcoholic drinks are not Halal. Quran tells us the proper way of killing animals and making food Halal.

These all procedures make your food Halal. We should follow the words of ALLAH and obey him.
