2011
07.11

Islam is the religion that highly appreciates the hijab especially for women as it is the symbol of Muslim women and she should be proud of wearing hijab because it saves women from the evils of this world. When we do Quran Recitation we come to know the significance of hijab in every aspect of life. “O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies (i.e. screen themselves completely). That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed. And Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (al-Ahzab: 59). There are some lame excuses of some women who don’t want to wear hijab.

  • Most of the women reject the veil or hijab just on the base that she will lose her friends as no one among them wear hijab but short and miniskirts that is the symbol of vulgarity.
  • The other most common excuse now a days when women go out of their home to do job, they think that the veil or hijab will harm their job or career. They don’t want to take the risk of lose about their status, high salary, and community of colleagues who have the modern looks just for the sake of a piece of cloth.
  • If one’s family is not wearing hijab then the women have another excuse not to wear hijab. According to their view point it looks odd or strange if I wear hijab among them who wear stylish cloths.
  • They think that by wearing hijab they will look like old age that they can’t afford in this modern society but they don’t know the power of hell fire that is unbearable.
  • They have lack of inferiority complex that they will not get the attention of guys but they don’t know that it is the big sin that you give the chance to any non-mahram to look at you and Allah will ask you the reason when you will have no answer.

Make the habit of Quran Recitation with proper understanding so that you will come to know the immense benefits of wearing hijab. Insha’Allah

Salat And Some Health Benefits Of Performing Salat

Salah is the Arabic word is an obligatory worship for Muslim. Before performing the prayer, an ablution is needed, and with the cleansing of the body we are helping ourselves to be away from germs and virus, consequently a Muslim that offer his/her  five  daily prayers on the proper time is keeping himself/herself  away from the doctor.

We should offer prayer on prescribed time, as from specific time of the day our Allah is guiding us to be on time and have a good time management. When we are performing prayer, we are actually knocking at the door of Allah, and whoever is offering prayer, Allah will open its door for him/her, He also gives us immense reward for praying Salat.

There are several benefits of offering Salat to our health which I would like to share from this post. Online Quran learning courses also tell you about the benefits of Salah.

Performing prayer is an excellent type of exercise to stop indigestion. Through offering Takbir at the beginning of salat, it increases the flow of blood towards torso.

When we perform sajdah in salat, we touch the ground with our forehead, and this increases fresh supply of blood to our brain.

salat is an excellent source of exercise for our heart as well, which is our an important organ of the body. According to a Hadith of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW),”There is an organ in the body, when it is healthy, the whole body is healthy, and when this is sick, the entire body becomes sick”. It is the heart.

06.02

There are so many Muslims who ask the question many times that can we give the holy Quran to non-Muslim as a gift? The answer is yes but there are some confines that we must take care before doing this act of kindness.

As we all are aware as Muslims that the glorious Quran is the revelation from Allah almighty to Muhammad (p.b.u.h) to give the knowledge of Islam to all mankind. It demands respect so keep in mind that if you want to give Quran to non-believers, they must pay respect and be sure that they are seriously interested to learn the book of Allah. Be sure that they really want to know what exactly the meaning of Quran is and they are seriously concerned to know about Islam and Muslims.

If you are sure about all above mentioned points then it is permitted because it is the superb method to spread Islam and they can compare holy Quran to their own religious books. Insha’Allah they will defiantly fine the book of Allah greatest among all. It is better to give them a copy of translation of holy Quran because most of the non-Muslims do not understand Arabic. Tell them that you must purify yourself before touching this book as it is the holy book and guide them how to purify.

Teach them how to read and recite Quran correctly and if you think that the person whom you want to give Quran is tapered minded then it is strictly not allowed to gift them this holy book because they may harm or say some hard words for Quran and Islam. There will be no blame on you then. So keep in mid all above mentioned points. JazakAllah Khair.

The Best Role Model: Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H)

Our beloved prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) was the first role model and the best teaches among the whole world as he claimed that he sent down as a teacher. Muhammad (p.b.u.h) has the best moral and characteristics, once someone asked about the life style of Muhammad (p.b.u.h) to Ayesha (R.A), she replied:  have you never read the holy Quran? Muhammad was sent down to warn mankind for wrath and punishment of Allah and to guide human being for paradise. As Allah said in Quran:

“O Prophet! Verily, we have sent you as a witness, and a bearer of glad tidings, and a Warner and as one who invites to Allah (alone) by His permission and as a lamp that gives light”. (Suratul Ahzaab 33:45-46)

Arabs at that time were not so much literate. Just seventeen people had the writing skills over there and some collective people used to go for trade In Mecca. It shows there were no awareness of educational knowledge before Muhammad (p.b.u.h).scholars and writers are shocked that Muhammad (p.b.u.h) never took any class from anywhere but still he leaded the whole nation and was the best teacher among all.

The awareness of pen and education spread when Allah revealed first five verses of Quran. Arab people were totally unaware of general education and Quran knowledge but the teaching provided by our beloved prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) purified their (both of men and women) lives from dark to light.

Muhammad (p.b.u.h) said:”Seek knowledge from your birth to your grave”.

Quran is the only key to get in touch with knowledge and education to explore ourselves and to lead the world. Although Muhammad (p.b.u.h) died fourteen centuries ago but the education and knowledge that he spread is still same without any alteration and changes.

Importance Of Quran Recitation:

Holy Quran is the word of Allah (SWT), and it is not difficult to prove that it is the word of Allah, the almighty. You will understand it when you make Quran recitation a part of your life and when you concentrate on understanding what has been written in Quran.

Quran And Science:

Quran has explained us all the truths which science is proving now. Quran is not a book of science yet it caters many topics which science is proving now. Allah (SWT) himself talks about the disbelievers or non- believers, that if they wish to prove Quran wrong, they should try making a book like that.

This book was sent down fourteen hundred years back, however, the words of the book are still the same till today. Not even a single word has changed in it. It addresses the humankind in a very narrative style. It talks about the past, warns about the future, and deals with the issues and problems of the present as well.

Allah (SWT) has never left mankind to wander in the darkness. He has always guided the mankind with two channels of communication; these were the Prophets, and the Holy Scripture. The wisdom of Quran can neither be compared nor be recreated or produced by a normal person. Science is now proving what Quran taught us fourteen hundred years ago.

Make Quran recitation a part of your life and see how much knowledge Allah (SWT) has given you. You have the chance to collect as much knowledge as you want!

Is It Fine For Women To Cut Her Hair

2011
04.26

In general, many Muslim women know that cutting of hair is not allowed in Islam, there are also many Islamic books like Hanafi Fiqh books, which prohibit the cutting of hairs for Women. Still, small number of Arab scholars world have allowed cutting of hair in some conditions.

In a Hadith, “the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) forbade women from shaving their hair.” (Sunan Tirmidhi, 2/246 & Sunan Nasa’i, 5/407)

From different hadith , we come to know that hair cutting is not allowed, even the husband give permission to his wife and if she do this then  she will be sinful and cursed.

The main reasons why it is not allowed for women to cut her hair are firstly it is the copy of non Muslims and secondly it is the copy of men so that’s why they are not allowed to do so.

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Whosoever imitates a group is amongst them.” (Sunan Abu Dawud, no. 4031)

It is not allowed for women to imitate men and also it is not allowed for men to imitate women and if they do so then Prophet Muhammad (SAW) cursed those people.

So finally we have answer that cutting hair is prohibits is Islam, we should try to adopt such thing which Holy Quran says to us and which Islam teaches us and for that we do lots of Quran learning, because in this way we can improve our lives and become successful not only in this life but the life hereafter.

Islam and the West!

Post 9/11- Islam and West:

It has been many years since the 9/11 attacks incident took place. The world politics has changed dramatically after that. However the relationship between America and the Muslim world went through a lot in this scenario. Most of the surveys of the countries around the globe show that United States of America draw most of its negative assessment from the Muslim nations.

In the same way researches show that four out of ten Americans have positive or favorable views for Islam. Most of the Americans have perceived the negative image of Islam and they consider Islam, a violent religion.  The American – Islam gap is increasing day by day. These distances would lead the world to major civilization conflicts and clashes according to the famous Researcher Bernard Lewis.

Are We Heading Towards The Clash Of Civilization?

Now it is still a mystery if we really are heading towards the clash of civilizations or are these small and timely clashes which would not exist after a short span of time? The recent American invasions and the American interference in the domestic affairs of many Muslims countries show that things might get more messed up. If it is so, Muslim world will be amongst the biggest suffers.

Muslims are in a state of confusion and misery, all due to their own negligence. Muslims neglected their foundation. They forgot what their Lord asked them to do and they engaged themselves in the materialistic affairs of the world. These have resulted this way and if you really wish to survive out of these affairs, strengthen your base through online Quran reading.
