Once Google was the only search engine responsible for the PPC (pay Per Click) campaigns but now there are many other platforms available as well such as yahoo and Bing, now Bing has taken over yahoo after a long awaited merger.

Yahoo rejected the unsolicited bid of USD $44.6 from Microsoft Corporation when Microsoft tried to acquire Yahoo In February 2008. Yahoo thought USD $44.6 is not the worth of yahoo but finally now there is a merger. Microsoft Corporation has taken over yahoo; now then, what would be the impact of this decision on PPC (pay per click) campaigns and PPC management services.
As the merger has taken placed, now all PPC marketing, management and reporting would be centralized in the Microsoft AdCenter. There would be no separate campaigns anymore rather Microsoft AdCenter would take care of all the affairs. This merger means if there is someone who is running a PPC campaign on Yahoo’s Sponsored Search Marketing platforms would transit his or her accounts over to Microsoft AdCenter.
If you plan to run your advertising campaign on yahoo then Yahoo account representative would supply you with two documents which are:
1. Excel spreadsheet
2. PDF
An excel spreadsheet would give details about your accounts and the PDF file would explain the transition. This is a very straightforward step and a very user friendly one. All what you have to do is to fulfill the requirements which are provided in Excel spreadsheet and then return back the document to your representative.
