Muslims believe in their Holy Book Quran. Also Muslims believe on all the books of ALLAH that are the ‘bible’ collection of sacred scripture of both Judaism and Christianity, bible is also known as the Injil of Isa (Jesus), Zabur the holy book of Dawud and Tawrat of Musa (Moses). These all are the books of ALLAH sent to show the right path to people that is the path of ALLAH. In all these books the definition of God is defined which clearly show who the God is and whatever he can do. But unfortunately the Holy books are not in their original form now because in past people have made so many changes in them. Only the Holy book Quran is as it is and will be till the Day of Judgment.
The presentation of God in bible has been the most important asset. The image of God in these books represent that God has special qualities that cannot be denied. He cannot be destroyed or damaged by human intervention. Still there are some verses of Bible that agree on the same qualities of God specified in Quran.
Definition of God in the verses of bible: “Where can I go from your Spirit: Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,” even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day for darkness is as light to you”. Psalm 139:7-12
“The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous.” Psalm 19:9
Definition of God in the verses of Quran: [58:7] “Do you not realize that GOD knows everything in the heavens and everything on earth? No three people can conspire secretly without Him being their fourth, or five without Him being the sixth, or less than that, nor more, without Him being there with them wherever they may be. Then, on the Day of Resurrection, He will inform them of everything they had done. GOD is fully aware of all things”.
[3:18] “GOD bears witness that there is no god except He, and so do the angels and those who possess knowledge. Truthfully and equitably, He is the absolute god; there is no god but He, the Almighty, Most Wise”.
