It is a very good intention to teach Quran on the part of a Muslim. A good Muslim must be aware of the hardships our prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) tolerated for the ease of his Ummah.
The person who wants to teach Quran must be able to inculcate the love of the prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) among his students. Or Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) was given the miracle of Quran.
βAnd verily, it is an honorable respected Book. Falsehood cannot come to it from before it or behind (it was) sent down by the All-wise, Worthy of all praise (Allah)β (Surah-Fussilat (41), ayahs 41-42).
The person who wants to teach Quran should also know that another distinction of our Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) is that he is the last prophet. There will be no prophet after him. The religion of Islam was completed with his last sermon that he delivered in his farewell pilgrimage.
βMuhammad is not the father of any man among you, but he is the Messenger of Allah, and the last of the Prophets, And Allah is Ever All-Aware of everything.β (Surah-al-Ahzaab (33), ayah 40)
The person who wants to teach Quran must be able to convey the entire meanings of the Ayah mentioned above to his or her students.
