There are many signs of greatness of Allah that can be seen and found in the Universe, which are change of day and night, change in the ordering of winds. The faith in Allah (SWT) normally does not always come from the logical arguments; instead it springs from the experience of harmony and beauty in nature.
Islam is a very balanced religion and speaks about the truth. Holy Quran urges men to ponder, reflect, and use their reason. Quran is not just a scientific treatise. It is a book of wisdom and guidance. There are almost more than 1200 verses in this Holy Book about science and it can be called as the cause of material and scientific progress.

In the corner of Uzbek capital, lies Tashkent, which is one of the most sacred Islamic Relics, the world’s oldest Quran. From the oldest Koran to the Online Quran of today, there is a long journey of this Holy Book. It reminds us of the role which the Central Asia played in the history of Muslims. The Koran is kept in the old library of Tashkent which is known as Hast-Imam, it is a place known to many visitors of this city.
The library is located in the series of dusty lanes, near the grave of scholar Kaffel Shashi. The Mufti of Uzbekistan, who is the highest religious leader, has his offices in the old madrassa. Across the road is the non-descript mosque and the sacred hair, whose collections are the most important historical things in the Central Asia.
According to young assistant in office of mufti, approximately 3000 manuscripts and 20,000 books are present in the library. The Holy Quran is kept in special glass fronted vault built into the wall of inner room.
Caliph Othman made five copies of Holy Quran. After the death of Othman, it was taken to Kufa in the modern Iraq. Several Hundred years later, the Central Asian conqueror found the Koran and took it to his capital named Samarkand.
It stayed there for almost four centuries, until the Russians conquered Samarkand in the year 1868. Russian Government then sent Othman Koran to St Petersburg, where it was kept in the library. Due to this reason, the world’s oldest Quran still remains in the quarter of old Tashkent.

What then do you think will be the position of the one who himself learnt the Qur’aan and acted in accordance with it?” (Ahmad and Abu Dawood)

The significance of Quran in the lives of Muslims is as this significance of nucleus for an atom. The state of this nation will remain good till the Hour is established, or till Allah’s Order comes.”

Teaching Quran is a noble act. It is also a Sunnah as the Prophet (PBUH) also used to teach Quran to Muslims. It has such high value in Islam because inculcating the knowledge of Islam in Muslim children and teaching them how to read and recite Quran will ultimately bear true Muslims. It also has high value because the next time a student reads Quran after you have taught him how to, you will also reap the fruits of his recitation of the Holy Quran.
However, Quran teaching also requires some important aspects to keep into consideration. Some of these things are mentioned below.
- The most important thing is that the teacher should tell the student why Quran reading is important and why is it so essential to respect the Quran. Allah says in the Quran,
“And when the Quran is recited, then listen to it and remain silent, that mercy may be shown to you.” Al-Araf [7:204]
- During the Quran teaching session, the tutors should inculcate the importance of mediation of the Quranic verses on the students. Allah says in the Quran,
“Do they not then meditate on the Quran? And if it were from any other than Allah, they would have found in it many a discrepancy.” An-Nisa [4:82]
- It is also the responsibility of the Quran teacher to tell the students that the message of Allah is sacred and divine and that no one can change the word of Allah. Allah says,
“We narrate to you the best of narratives, by Our revealing to you this Quran, though before this you were certainly one of those who did not know.” Yusuf [12:3]

People often ask why do we pray and what is the importance of praying. A simple answer to this question might be that individuals pray because they have seen their ancestors pray. This habit of praying is passed on from generation to generation. Others may also respond that we pray because we are obligated to pray according to our religious teachings and principles.
Allah has given all human beings a freedom of choice. This means that they have the choice to pray or not to pray. This also means that they have the choice to follow the path of righteousness or that of wrongdoers.
This is because Allah has created man as a superior creation. Human beings have the ability to think and rationalize. Even with bounded rationality, human beings can ponder on the things present in this world and based on this rationality, they can determine the right and wrong for themselves.
However, Allah has also urged all Muslims to pray five times a day. It is an obligation towards Allah that Muslims have to fulfill. However, Allah has also provided signs for those who want to use their rationality and the ability to think to find out the truth. When you seek out the truth, you will definitely see that Allah is the All-Knower and He knows that praying and worshipping is for the benefit of human beings. They will be able to analyze its importance.

There are different kinds of worship that Allah almighty legislated for mankind so that we do not perform only one that lead us to get exhausted of it. There are some obligatory and some of them are recommended acts of worship that would boost the reward. Taraweeh is one of them in which we recite the Sarah’s or verses from the Quran and it is offered in the month of Ramadan as a night prayer. It is considered as greatest after obligatory prayers. The prophet (p.b.u.h) said: “The best prayer after the compulsory is the night prayer.” The night prayer (Taraweeh) in Ramadan has a particular deliberation dissimilar from any other time of the year.
It was called Taraweeh for the reason that the Companions of the prophet and the successors to the Companions used to construct an extensive standing in them and they would take rest after offering every four Rakaat. That is why it named Taraweeh (Rest prayer). (Four Rakaat are called Taraweeh).Imams Bukhari and Muslim reported that Muhammad (p.b.u.h) said: “Whoever presents elective prayers (like Taraweeh prayers) all through the nights of Ramadan, believing in Allah and seeking His rewards, will have his earlier sins forgiven.” Taraweeh is deemed from the Qi-yam of Ramadan so we should execute it. Muhammad (p.b.u.h) was the first who made praying the Taraweeh in congregation Sunnah, and then he left it fearing that it may become compulsory upon his Ummah.
The scholars have diverse beliefs about the number of Rak’ahs of Taraweeh prayer along with the Witr. Some other said: forty-one Rak’ahs, some said: thirty-nine, some said: twenty-nine, some said: twenty-three, some said: nineteen, some said: Thirteen and some said: eleven. The strongest beliefs are those who said: eleven according to Imams Bukhari and Muslim that Ayesha (R.A.) was asked about the night prayer of the prophet (saws) in Ramadan, she replied: “He did not pray it more than eleven Rak’ahs.” Ramadan is just coming after one month so be prepare for it. Angle Jibril (A.S) stored entire Quran to the heart of Muhammad (p.b.u.h) and Quran is the most famous book which most of the people memorized. Muhammad himself memorized it and then helped his companions for Quran Reading and to memorize it. There is no modification in it from centuries Thus Quran is unique text book for us to be successful in this life and hereafter.

Salah is the Arabic word is an obligatory worship for Muslim. Before performing the prayer, an ablution is needed, and with the cleansing of the body we are helping ourselves to be away from germs and virus, consequently a Muslim that offer his/her five daily prayers on the proper time is keeping himself/herself away from the doctor.
We should offer prayer on prescribed time, as from specific time of the day our Allah is guiding us to be on time and have a good time management.
